Growing up in rural Minnesota, Mana T. Johnson (pronounced MAN-uh) began studying theater in middle and high school.

While she attended college at the University of Minnesota for Art, she performed at Nickelodeon Universe in the Mall of America as many of their costumed characters.

In 2017, Mana moved to Florida to work for Walt Disney World. However, her magical career was cut short when the pandemic hit.

Being a long time cosplayer since 2012 under the name Mana-T Cosplay, Mana decided to go all in on the art form and engaged in acting through in-character panels and short form skits online. She was a featured cosplayer at more than 10 conventions throughout Florida before she decided to take the dive into professional acting.

In early 2023, Mana was cast in The Haunted Tavern, The Shipwreck Saloon, and The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy. This trio of stage shows tours the United States serving cocktails while actors perform unforgettable 15 minute monologues.

It was during this time, Mana began taking remote and in-person voice over lessons hoping for a day when she would no longer be traveling and could dedicate time to pursuing voice over.

This golden opportunity was presented to her in late 2024. Since then, Mana has been cast in various anime dubbing, video game, animation, audio book narration, and live-action dubbing roles.

She is excited for her voice acting future and aspires to one day be the voice that says “Please watch your step while boarding the ride.”
